Description

Students learn the latest in medicine, health sciences and biomedical science research, exploring topics such as anatomy, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, microbiology, pathology, pharmacology, legal issues, and more. They also gain skills in research methodology and lab management.

The degree focuses on three core areas: agriculture, medical, and industrial biotechnology. Students will learn practical skills in molecular cloning, genome editing, cell culture, and bioprocessing. The progressive curriculum also includes bioinformatics analysis, research, and business skills.

The programme provides a solid foundation of psychological theories and concepts, empirical studies and professional practice delivered by experts in the field. The programme covers subjects including biology, physiology, sociology and philosophy, preparing students for a wide range of careers.
